I enjoy playing music. I've tried different instruments, but was never much good at any except organs and keyboards.
I play mostly for myself, using the music as a way to relax. I have had many keyboards, but most have been sold or swapped for new.
My keyboards have mostly been Roland and Yamaha. My current keyboard is the
Yamaha PSR-S750.
After getting set up in my apartment in Arlington, Virginia, it felt a little empty musically, so I bought the
Yamaha Motif XS6
... What an awesome music making machine !!!
I was missing some good organ sounds and have supplemented with the Yamaha Reface YC.
I used to skydive, but had 3 reserve pulls within a very short time, and I decided I was getting too sloppy to continue. I have a total of 127 jumps.
I performed my first jump April 4th 1985 and my last October 3rd 1992 ... so far!

Flying the Sky | |
And now for some hard earned rest | |
My employer at the time paid for all my skydiving equipment for publicity |
I enjoyed skiing when I was younger. In 2010 my son wanted to try snowboarding so I took him to the world's best snow in Utah, and ended up getting hooked on skiing again. My equipment is primarily Atomic and K2; I'm especially proud of reaching 141.4 km/h (87.9 mph) on my Atomic Race LT skis at Idre Fjäll in 2013.
I'm an absolute flight simulation fanatic. I've got them all, but I must admit my favorite is Microsoft Flight Simulator. I spend hours planning flights and then flying the plans.
I'm also a gadget freak. I've got loads of HP calculators:
Have had: | HP-25C, HP-16C, HP-41CX |
Still own: | HP-67, HP-19BII, HP-20S, HP-48GX, HP-40G, HP-33S, HP-50G, HP-30S, HP-9G, HP-35s, HP-12c, HP-48gII, HP-10s, HP-300s, HP-20b, HP-30b, HP-40gs, OfficeCalc 200 HP-15C LE and HP Prime |

I have a Garmin e-Trex GPS. It's a wonderful toy, which keeps me from getting lost. In September 2001, I was in Brussels, and I walked around until I was totally lost. But using the GPS, I found my way back to my hotel, without any problems. I bought the Garmin Nüvi 360. This is not just a toy, but a professional piece of hardware that helps me find my way around Denmark, or all of Europe for that matter. Since I've been spending most of my time in the US since August 2007, I now also have the Garmin Nüvi 660 with US & Canada maps. In 2010, I was going to upgrade the map on my Garmin Nüvi 660, but the cost was so high, it was cheaper to buy a Garmin Nüvi 785T on sale. In 2013 I upgraded to the Nüvi 2495LMT. I currently use the nüviCam LMTHD in Europe.
Photography has always been one of my passions. I've had several Canon and Nikon fixed lens cameras, but with the equipment I have now,
it almost looks professional when I take pictures.
For the quick and easy, I always carry my Canon IXUS 220 HS just in case a shot presents itself.
