Curriculum Vitae

I was born August 5th, 1965 in Aabybro, in then northernmost part of Denmark. I've lived several different places in Denmark. In 1977 I moved to Fort Worth, Texas, because my Dad was in the Royal Danish Air Force, and worked as a liaison officer when Denmark was planning to buy the F-16 Fighting Falcons. I moved to Kaysville Utah in 1979, and then back to Denmark in 1982, where I've been living different places in the Copenhagen area.

I have no formal education, other than a completed 10th grade at Davis High School, Kaysville, Utah. All what I do, and what I am today, is mostly self-taught, with some training courses courtesy of my different employers. I do programming in most of the common computer languages. I'm a self-taught network expert, and I comprehend most network protocols, including, but not limited to, TCP/IP, LLC, NetBIOS, and SNA.

In early 1996, my manager asked me to look into network security, and it has become one of my biggest passions ever since. The company I worked for, had one of the largest networks in the world, and being responsible for security on the network, really made it worth going to work every day.

In September 2000, I became a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and in October 2002 I became a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). I passed the exam for Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) in December 2006, but I haven't applied for the certification yet.

In October 2007, I moved back to the US, this time to Arlington, VA, trying to establish our business in North America. For various reasons, mainly the 2008 economy crash, we never succeeded and gave up the enterprise in September 2012.
